Louis deBroglie proposed that matter particles can exhibit a wave nature, akin to how photons can be described as both waves and particles. Schroginger described the wave nature with his formula, and Heisenberg said that the more you know the position, the less precisely you know the momentum (the same goes for energy and time). My question is, since all waves undergo a doppler shift (shorter wavelengths when wave is approaching, longer when receding), do matter waves exhibit this same phenomenon? Or would this effect be compensated for by the uncertainty principle?
