Does it look like autumnTeenag61 - 10 Answers
Since I live in Las Vegas, it looks like summer 9 months out of the year, and the other season still looks the same, but it's just cold. We haven't gotten to the cold season yet, and our air conditioning doesn't work, so to answer your question, it looks nothing like autumn here.
Actually, the first time in my life that I ever saw a true autumn season was my first vacation with my current husband. He took me up to Carson City where they actually have all four seasons, and since I had never seen it before, I was in awe. He laughed watching me because I was just like a small child seeing it for the first time, looking at all the trees changing colors, and saying "OOOOHHH, Pretty!" He still teases me about it, but it was awfully nice to see. I did move up there for a little while, and was actually able to enjoy each of the four seasons once, but that was the first and last time. I did grow up in Southern California where you get mostly spring and summer, but that's about it.
I live in South Texas, where the majority of the trees are live oaks. It won't look like autumn here until March or April, and even then, the trees won't ever lose all of their leaves, only most of them.
I do hope to have time to go to Lost Maples State Natural Area in November, though. That's where all of us who come from places that have fall color go for our "fix." The color change on the bigtooth maples hasn't been very dramatic the last few years, but it is better than nothing.

In Athens it still looks and feels like summer. The weather is still quite warm and there are days that people can still go tho the beach for a swim. We are still wearing short sleeve shirts and shorts. There were only two days this month that a windbreaker or sweater was needed.
We don't have many trees around my area but the ones we do have are still green and flowers are fully bloomed. I have notice that for the past 5 years we really do not have four seasons anymore. We have summer and then we have winter.
Coming from Canada I really miss seeing all the colorful leaves on the trees. Thank you Cytomg99 for the pretty picture.
I live in the UK, and it definitely looks and feels like autumn. I live in a fairly wooded area, and the trees have started to shed their leaves. Everywhere is beginning to look bare and the plants are all getting ready for their winter sleep. The temperature has dropped and the mornings are typically autumnal with wind and rain. In a week or so, the clocks will be going back and we will gain an hour, but it will still be darker.
I quite like the coziness of autumn, and wrapping up warm. I'm quite a homely person and I just love snuggling in front of the fire with a good book and my pajamas on!
Here in western Massachusetts we are right at the peak of the autumn season and the tress are changing color. Today we are getting a nasty rain storm so I imageine that many of the leaves will fall off of the trees. Autumn is my favorite season so I wish it would continue for a few more months but sadly I think it will quickly come to and end over the next few weeks. We have already had a few mornings with frost here so we know that winter is not too far behind..
Thanks for asking.
I live in Southern California, and it only looks like autumn if you look very closely. Many of the cities plant colorful trees like maples and sweet gums, especially along the medians of the major boulevards. It is delightful to drive down one of these streets and enjoy the colorful trees.
However, the minute you look at the beach full of sunbathers, or the palm trees outside the local office buildings, it is hard to remember that it really is fall!
I live in southern Wisconsin and it has looked like autumn for a while now. In fact, we are close to looking like the end of autumn. Due to some heavy rain and winds in the past week, most of the beautiful leaves are already gone off the trees. There have been enough frosts to kill off most of the summer and garden plants. Our High temperatures are in the fifties. Hopefully the snow flakes will not start for a few weeks....
Yes here in Ireland everything is starting to brown nicely as I discovered while out mountain biking up in the hills today and taking some photos! However I don't particularly like autumn as it reminds me of going back to school! Also summertime ends next Sunday morning so although the extra hour in bed is nice, it means dark evenings. Roll on December 21st!...
I live in Rockville, Maryland, and YES! it most certainly looks like autumn right now. Its perfect actually, leaves still on trees mostly, but can see red -brown-green in their color!...
I live in Australia and it looks very much like spring today! (That's because it is!)...
