What exactly is Astra projection

Astral projection is a term used in spiritual and meditative studies and philosophies. Supposedly, if people concentrate enough during meditation, their minds and spirit along with their minds can travel outside their bodies. They are "projecting" their spirit and mind to a different place other than their own physical selves.

In common ways of expressing things, it's an exaggerated form of mind over matter, or taking one's mind off one's own self and one's own worries. It ends up being a form of relaxation, good for the mind and body of the meditating person.

Astral projection has been compared to going to heaven after one dies. The spirit leaves the body. Also, it's been compared to the common act of dreaming while asleep, in that the mind goes somewhere besides what the physical body actually is experiencing during sleep.

Unfortunately however, no one can prove that the spirit actually leaves his or her body. But meditating people place faith in the benefits of separating the spirit from the physical self.

Astral projection is when the soul actually leaves the body, but re-enters after some time. Your body could be lying in bed, but your soul can exit the body, visit other places, people, or realms, then re-enter back into the body. I had this experience when I was 6 years old, and will never forget it. I was very I'll with scarlet fever and in a coma. The doctor was at my house, and told my mom to make arrangements, I wouldn't make it. I watched the entire thing from above my body! I was comfortable there, and didn't want to leave. A woman appeared, and told me I had to go back, it wasn't my time. I kind of argued, but then gave in, because of the pain I could see my mom going through. I went back, the fever broke, and I recovered. I tried to explain it to my mom and the doctor, but they just insisted it was a miracle. So I know from my own experience that this is real. Thanks for the question, hope this helps!

Like others, I'm assuming you're asking about ASTRAL projection, which is the silly and ridiculous notion that a person's 'spirit' or 'soul' can separate from their living body and travel independently (and see things from a perspective outside their body).

Of course, there is absolutely no proof that the human 'soul' or 'spirit' (or whatever one chooses to call it) even exists. It's simply one of those bits of persistent nonsense that still survives from humanity's ignorant and superstitious childhood. And the proposition that people can actually control this non-existent entity to travel outside their physical bodies is one of the most ludicrous, sad and pathetic delusions ever to spring from human imagination.

Astral projection is described to be an "out-of-body" experience. Where you or any human's soul, spirit, or inner self separates from the physical body. During this process it is said that the soul or part that leaves the human's physical body will begin to travel but not on its own. You or who ever is in charge of the body and soul will choose where they can go. Such as if you had the experience of being lifted into the air genuinely and looking down only to see yourself sleeping, this can be be deemed an "out-of-body experience" or astral projection. For some it stays as such but for others, there are claims that they are able to travel around their neighborhoods going further and further each time as they learn to control this ability.

It's the term to describe out of body experiences. But, to me it's a bit faulty, since the body is just data and not actually fundamental. It's more out of mind than anything else, but that term has a negative feel to it. But, that's technically what it is.

It's when you focus your mind and lose awareness of your body. You're just a floating awareness and then you can move around and enter different dimensions, or anything you wanna do.

I do it quite a bit. It's interesting to practice and learn. It's not hard to do. There's not method really, You just sit quietly and drift away and keep your mind on. Life is a dream and astral projection is pretty much discovering that for yourself. Thanks for the question.

It's the term used to describe the soul leaving one's physical body and visiting anywhere they choose in time and space. It's been mentioned in various ways throughout history though it's not been a scientifically verified phenomenon. It is said to be possible when you can get the mind to slow down enough to be aware and present with just your spirit. There are many meditation techniques that are said to be able to induce this ability with practice. Also it's what many like the commenter above report happening when in a coma. Closest I've come is a daydream.

I'm assuming you're talking about Astral projection, which is typically interpreted as an out-of-body experience. It is described as the "astral body" that is separate from the physical body traveling outside of the physical body. Each religion has slightly different views on what astral projection means to them, but scientifically there is no evidence that astral projection exists.

Guessing you mean astral projection. In short, its finding a way to to leave your body temporarily, to go for a stroll, or even entering someone elses dreams. Your supposedly similar to a ghost when you're astral projecting. Able to float, walk through walls, or even talk to other spirits.
