Do you believe aliens exist?

I am open to the idea aliens exist. Evidence suggests they even visited earth in the past. I watched several programs presented by the History Channel about ancient astronaut theory. They were pretty compelling.

If you have time this summer pick up a copy of Chariots of the Gods authored by Erich von Däniken. Per von Däniken's interpretation of ancient artifact, scripture and art, angels and extraterrestrials are one and the same. His work has been discounted as fiction by most serious scholars but von Däniken does raise some provocative questions.

There have long been questions about the pyramids, crop circles, monolithic structures and, of course, Roswell. Aliens are a possible, if not probably, explanation. Until someone can conclusively prove or disprove the existence of aliens, I will remain open to the idea.

It really would be a matter of belief or faith since there's no credible evidence that they exist. People say it's a big universe and it would be "arrogant" to think there is no other life out there, but "I wouldn't want to be *arrogant*" is not an argument. Are there any alien races close enough to make contact with us? I doubt it. Some of the visible stars are so far away that they have already gone dark even though their light is only now getting to us. But if there are any aliens, and they are monitoring this answer, let me just say, "Greetings from Earth, guys!"

I believe that in the vastness of the universe there must exist lifeforms other than on Earth, but, regardless of what others have posted above, no one has ever provided one shred of concrete evidence of their existence. Ancient Aliens on History is rather entertaining, if for no other reason than to hear the presenters spew out so many ludicrous ideas and spurious evidence of alien visitation; from messing with our DNA so we could more efficiently mine gold for them instead of dinosaurs with their woefully inadequate short little forearms (picture T-Rex) to teaching mankind to tie shoelaces.

Of course they do. I'll tell you the two sides that make me believe it.
As far as religion - did God not create the heavens and the earth? How far are these heavens, does it end, do we only get the story of OUR earth, and are there other places holding life that He has created far, far away?
As far as science - it is totally plausible that since there is an earth there would be other creatures in some form of life in other places. Aliens may not be in a form that we could know or recognize, but does that mean they do not exist?

It's not even a matter of whether or not I believe aliens exist at this point. I have a very hard time imagining this, or any other universe such as ours, does not have "aliens" or other life forms or intelligence.

While I certainly don't know from first hand experience that "aliens" exist as fact, it is much harder for me to believe that they don't exist and we are the only form of life or intelligence in the entire mind boggling expanse and vastness that is the universe.

Yes I do. The universe is too big to be empty. And if Earth was able to develop an atmosphere where plant and animal life was able to develop then other planets could too. It is all about chemistry and biology and I do believe that the same or a similar kind of chemical processes took place somewhere else. In addition, the universe is expanding and planets are being formed in places we will never be able to reach.

Yes I do believe there are Aliens, we can't be the only life in this great galaxy. And I believe they do come and visit earth from time to time. I also believe the Governments do have evidence of space ships the Aliens have visited us in and maybe even corpses of Aliens. Like I said, we can't be the only life in a galaxy that is so huge.

I believe life outside of Earth most likely exists but I do not believe said life is in the form of skinny little gray creatures.

I'm 100% positive, they exist! Do you really think, that we are all alone in the whole universe?

Of course. There's loads of evidence.
