IF nothing can escape from a black hole how does gravity escape?

The mass of the black hole distorts space and time around it. This is interpreted as a force, the force of gravity. Specifically, General Relativity is a theory about the interaction between mass and space-time (the curvature tensor). There is nothing which has to escape the field.

Since there have been no quantum theories which are able to describe gravitation and General Relativity at this time there is no particle which "carries" the force. However, this hypothetical particle has been dubbed the graviton. The Einsteinian gravitational field, which is the space-time distortion, propagates with the speed of light.

Gravitational force does not travel from one object to another. When an object comes in close enough to a black hole to be inside its gravitational field (the region around the black hole where gravitational attraction imposed by it is greater than that of any other object), the gravitational attraction of that object, not being stronger than that of the black hole, gets overcome and the object falls into the black hole.

The gravitational force of attraction is not travelling from one object to another. Only when the mutual gravity of an object is overcome by that of the black hole does it fall into the black hole.

What I found is that gravity does not have to escape from a black hole. That is according to the Theory of Relativity.

I heard something else today that is on the spiritual side. He said it was from Aristotle and also the Egyptians. It is about what gravity is and does and how to get rid of it. So he said that gravity that held you down is from demons. If someone were to get rid of the demons they would then be free of the Earth or by comparison possibly that black hole. Then you could rise up to heaven. It is an idea that makes some sense as he says.

Gravity is a sort of attraction. The qustion is how does the force, caused by gravity, that acts on one body get there from the originating body? Gravitons? Are gravitons themselves unaffected by gravity and if not how do they escape a black hole?

A black hole IS a form of gravity.Gravity cannot escape itself!A black hole is is gravitational energy so strong that dven light cannot escape it.

I think this is a stupid question. Actually gravity is a sort of attraction or repulsion phenomenon.
