So if you want to convert from inches to yards then you must multiply the figures in inches by 0.28 to have them in yards unit.

Example:
Convert 20 inches to yards.

Solution;
= 20 x 0.28

Answer: = 5.6 yards.

Remember: one inch is equal to 0.28 yards.
