i have a new question which is : how many degrees in a circle?, thanks

Circles are generally divided up into equal sized sections called "degrees". There are 360 degrees in each circle.

One theory about how this began is that it appeared to ancient astonomers that earth made one complete circle around the north star each year. They estimated each year contained 360 days, so they divided that circle into 360 sections.

I know it's 360, but when I procrastinate or go around in circles, my wife gives me the third degree.

...A full circle has 360 degrees. A semi-circle is 180 degrees and a quarter of a circle is 90 degrees.
