Do you celebrate Save a Spider Day on March 14?Hockey59 - 6 Answers
I detest spiders, but that does not mean that I do not fully comprehend their place in the world. They of course are beneficial in keeping down populations of certain other types of bugs and insects. As for whether or not I shall save a spider, that depends on where he happens to be when I encounter him. If he's in my house, he will likely have to go no matter what day it is.
Probably the old exterminator in me partly as well. ;)
I have never heard of such a day but just before I don't know about the Save a Spider day doesn't mean I couldn't celebrate it - right?
I think I will spare the lives of all the spiders in my house on March 14 just to do my bit for nature and hopefully the spiders I save will be grateful and not bite me.
Happy Save a spider day everyone.
I celebrate "Save a Spider Day" every day! They creep me out but they also make sure there isn't any other bugs around the house; as long as there are spiders around, that is all there is in my house!
I didn't know there was an official holiday for it but I like the idea. Those buggers are totally misunderstood.
I have never heard of this day before, I would participate on this day. I would only take spiders out of my house and put them outside, I wouldn't go looking for them outside. I'm not the biggest fan of spiders, they really gross me out! My favorite thing about spiders is the beautiful webs they make....
I haven't heard of Save a Spider day, but I would save a spider any day, I quite like spiders, and if I ever see one in the house, then I will scoop it up gently and put it outside, on a leaf....
Now I do! Didn't know it was a thing! I pretty much save spiders on any day I find them though. I have a specialized container just for this purpose....
