Will there be a end of the worid

Any real student of the Bible at least understands that the end of the world has nothing to do with the book of Revelation. This book is in symbolic language used to explain the evil of Rome and its five Emperors verses the salvation of God. It was a book of hope and salvation from Christian oppressors. Revelation was written by a writer hiding in fear of being hunted down and killed as a Christian. He didn't want his thoughts of Rome to be understood or read by the Romans, thus the symbolism. When you come to understand this you can start to come to a real appreciation of what was going on and not some end of the world anxiety and trepidation that many Christians have today.

Jesus talked about the end of days and it actually seems he was looking for it to happen, very soon! His Apostles after His death was looking for His second coming to happen any dayÂ… and so was the Apostle to the Gentiles, Paul and the early Christians. Paul believed that he must get the message to the Gentiles in fulfillment of prophecy and then GodÂ’s earthly Kingdom would be established at JerusalemÂ’s Temple here on earth. That never happen and the Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE. The end of times then morphed into the belief of a heavenly kingdom. Followers of Christ throughout history have been expecting the end to come at any time, but it never happened. How many times have Christians said the end is near? How long into the future will Christians continue to believe the end is at hand? If the end comes to the world, it will be for the lack of being good stewards of this world or some natural occurrences, but the God of Love that Christ talked about could not be the cause of the end of his creation. If the earth comes to an end; all Christians will also be destroyed along with everybody on this planet. No one will be singled out, unless we build a weapon that can do that. God is not a weaponÂ… but the source of life.

IsnÂ’t it time for Christians to evolve their thinking forward beyond the time of the Bible to the NOW? We need to be living in the present time and yes it should be coupled with spiritual lessons from the past, from the Bible, so we can use our improved thinking abilities compared to the limited abilities of 2000 to 5000 years ago?

Yes, there will be an end of the world. The signs of the end times are plain for all to see, and yet the world is sleeping walking. We are the first generation to fulfill ALL the biblical end time signs. Jesus Christ will return soon and all who do not turn to Him now will miss out on an eternal life far beyond any imagination can think.
