Is it harmful to pinch someone's cheeks?Gurldo14 - 8 Answers
Pinching cheeks will not break blood vessels. Pinching may tick someone off and they retaliate in another way but you are not doing any harm.
Back in the old days, women used to pinch their own cheeks to develop that coy blush and attract the men.
As long as you are not pinching too hard, then I don't see a problem with it.
My youngest daughter had those cute little chipmunk cheeks, too, that got pinched often, because they were so darn cute. In fact, those chipmunk cheeks stuck around until she was nearly three years old. Now that she's almost five, her face is starting to thin out, but you can still see them a little bit.
However, I can assure you that there has been no lasting effects on her cheeks from being pinched when she was little. She is absolutely beautiful, and her cheeks are the same color as the rest of her skin, which is a beautiful tan shade.
Depends what you call a pinch. Most pinches no but if you are pinching to be cruel whether it breaks the blood vessels or causes bruising or not you should stop. If your sister truly does not like it you should stop.
Otherwise carry on.
At age 18, my sister still has big chip munk cheeks. Her face is one of a 12 year old (maybe even younger). Her cheeks are enormous. It's just so tempting to pinch! I can't help it..... But no, nothing more than little, light pinch....
I guess it really depends on WHOSE cheeks you are pinching to know if it is harmful or not.
If you pinch my niece's cheeks, she would probably punch you in the nose. I would consider that harmful.
I think your dad is pulling your leg.
Unless you're pinching her hard enough to make a mark, all you're going to do is annoy your sister.
Lol he's not pulling my leg, if that expression means "to tease"
He just favors my sister over me, because she's younger.
The expression does mean to tease.......
