Due to the lack of oxygen in space, a person can?t survive at all out of space without a space suit. In case that a space suit ruptures, or becomes compromised, the moment this happens, the person?s life becomes compromised too. No one can survive being exposed to space vacuum without the aid of a space suit, if any one was to survive for any length of time that would be less than a microsecond. That is why space suits are so important for any astronaut.

The humans can manage to survive for at least two minutes before they can be declared clinically dead.By this time , their lungs will be bloated due to pressure of the air within ,body starts to swell up , eyes ball swell up because water gets evaporated when exposed to vacuum. The heart beats for some time and when it stops they are dead. But , I do not think they explode. They just bloat up and turn blue.

Less than a minute! The inner pressure from the body will cause the blood to come out from the lungs therefore this will not be the same as holding our breaths under the water. Plus extreme temperatures, either very hot or very cold, depends, and radiation will make it impossible to maintain any kind of comfort for more than a second!

It would take less than thirty seconds for death to occur without the actual space suit, but the hazardous environment of outer space would quickly dissolve your physical body into a unrecognizable horrible mass of flesh. It would not look pretty!
