Life on Other Planets?
A

There is almost certainly life on other planets, simply because of the mind-bogglingly huge number of planets out there.

Let's do some rough math.
There are about 50 billion galaxies visible with modern telescopes, and way more that we can't see.
The number of stars in our galaxy is about 100 billion, so let's assume all of these galaxies have that many stars. This means there are, at the very least, 50 billion x 100 billion stars in our universe.

Next, the number of stars that have planetary systems. Astronomers believe this is quite common among stars, but let's be conservative and say that it's at 1 in a million, and each system only has 1 planet in it.

Next, let's say that only 1 out of every million of these planets that exist is capable of supporting life due to being just the right distance from its star.

So, with our very conservative estimates, we have: (50 billion x 100 billion)/1 million/1 million = a minimum of 5 billion planets capable of supporting life in our universe. We know that basic building life can spontaneously arise every once in a while, and given that the universe is about 13.6 billion years old, the odds are pretty good that something has evolved on one of those 5 billion+ planets.

I think it's logical to assume there's life everywhere, but the thing we call life is maybe not recognizable as such on other planets. We are, after all, just representative of the elements and compounds found freely on the surface of a blue planet called earth. Our bodies are so much liquid, so much salt, and calcium, etc. That's just as if we were molded out of the clay, the air, the water on earth. Even our plants are just composed of the stuff found in the ground. It's just that what we call life usually moves around. Animals move faster than plants, but we all move. The ocean waves are moving with much more force, but we don't call that life. Also, we know that life can be microscopic. Whose to say that there aren't microscopic civilizations on other planets or, for that matter, right here on our own planet. Yes, I think there's life elsewhere. For sure.

Based on statistics and probability, I would say that it is very much possible that there is life on other planets. Given the vast expanse of the universe, there are likely planets that have had the same variables that would enable the creation of life. They may not be intelligent life forms or much more advanced technologically than, and they may look like or us or completely different, based on the needs of their environment, but life as it is in other planets is almost a certainty.

Yes, I do believe in the possibility for life on other planets. We are not alone in this universe. Life as we perceive it can be as simple as a bacteria, and even in our solar system there exists some type of bacteria. Life may also exist in other parts of the universe and not because we don't know of it, that does not mean that they don't exist. Life on other planets I believe do exist and it is just a matter of time before that is scientifically uncovered.

There absolutely has to be some sort of life on another planet, or moon. The universe is bigger than any of us can even imagine. Trying to think about not a single one of those planets or moons having life is like trying to think about the sun not rising tomorrow morning.

With how big the universe is, I do believe that there is life on other planets. It would be too weird for there not to be some type of life. Now the life that exists out there might not be what we expect to find. It may be bacteria or other types of organisms.

Yes, and moons!
There's too much opportunity out there. Way too much.

I've seen a UFO so I can pretty much say for certain, all you need to do is look at the evidence with an open mind though, then you will get your answer.

Yes, I do. I think it's arrogant of us to think that all the planets, galaxies, and universes that God created were put in place just so the earth could be here for us.

I feel that there is type of microbial life, on other planets in our solar system, and I also believe in Ancient Aliens!
There has got to be something out there!

Yes. With the wonderful universe our creator made, I can't believe we would be the only ones.
