Can the dead see the living?Dancel57 - 8 Answers
Dead people don?t know what takes place in the life of the living, for they are existing in a different world. Yet, it?s reported that the dead person hears the sound of the people?s footsteps when they leave the cemetery after the burial. We can say that all these narrations refer to the close period to the burial. But, after that phase of time the dead person transfers to another world in which he can never feel what is going on the earth
hope it's helping
It all depends one what you believe. Some believe that you are merely a compilation of materials from the universe and when you die you just recycle into the earth and that's it. In this case no, they cannot see you.
Others believe that there is a sole and your spirit keeps on going about it's business once you're dead, so in this instance they would hypothetically be able to see, or watch, you. Some of this belief feel that they can guide or help, others do not.
Another thought is that you go on to heaven and can look down upon those that are among the living. Those who believe this typically feel that the dead can communicate and guide them throughout their life.
Overall no, there is no need to fear the dead, fear is usually a product of ignorance. It's impossible to really know what happens after death, this leads people to their own interpretation and their own fears.
It would depend on the level of insanity or belief in the person that your asking. I do not feel that the dead have any further tie to the living world. I of course have no way to prove my postulation either way, but "the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence" as they say.
To give an anecdotal example; I could say that my mom believes in ghosts, and believes vehemently that while I was little I saw my dead grandmother a number of times. I think the whole thing is a shame to be perfectly honest. I am not so crass as to not believe something for the simple fact that their is no evidence in either direction. Logic would just dictate that the non existence of ghosts is far more likely.
If they could see me it would hardly make a difference though. I would still make decisions, live with consequences, and live my life just as I am now if I had spectators.
Obviously there will be many opinions, and mine is based on the Bible. The Bible is clear that when we die, that's it. If people could come back to earth, everyone would have a haunting story because family members would never want to leave their loved ones on earth. I find it odd that only a few select people claim to see their dead loved ones. What's so special about your family member that they get to come back? Did they have unfinished business? something really important to tell you? Well, that logic doesn't hold a lot of weight because I think we ALL leave behind unfinished business and we all want to say that final good bye. Dead people can't see the living, and if they could it would only cause them pain and hurt to see their loved ones going through trials....
It's a fact of life that everything that lives eventually dies. For most living things on the planet, that means returning to the Earth, from where they essentially came.
However, somewhere along the way humans decided to embrace the notion that we're exempt from this finality, that there is an ethereal aspect of our existence that continues after our bodies die. Yet, as attractive as this idea is, there is no convincing evidence that our cycle of life is any different than any other living thing in nature. We live, we die, and we don't come back.
So, to answer your question: since the dead no longer exist, no, they can't see the living.
I would like to believe that the dead are like the living. If we don't get in their way, they won't get in ours. If we live a life free of crime and we don't hurt anybody, then there's no reason to be afraid of having any spirit coming to harm us. There's a Chinese saying: if you have never done anything that your heart knows is wrong, then you shall not fear of spirits knocking at your door in the middle of the night....
No body has died for long enough a period, and then had come back to life to let us know....
They guide if you do good things and hurt when you go for bad work....
