The answers that state -3337 as the solution are correct.

The order of operations states that the multiplication will be performed before the addition or subtraction. Given that 17 x 225 = 3825, the expression simplifies to:

12 + 125 + 32 - 3825 - 2 + 321 = ?

Now, order of operations states that addition and subtraction are simply done from left to right:

137 + 32 - 3825 - 2 +321 = ?

169 - 3825 - 2 + 321 = ?

(-3656) - 2 + 321 = ?

(-3658) + 321 = -3337.

Interesting... if you just enter each number with the applicable math symbol, it does indeed come up with 3337.

However, if you follow each step with an equals calculation, and then take the next step, the answer comes up as 34519.

I see you have received both of these answers from different members. Is there some trick answer you are looking for? (Or were looking for at the time you posted these questions)

This math looks quiet complicated for me. Lets see

if i try puuting brackets, like;

12 + 125 + 32 - (17 * 225) - 2 + 32 = 3337

If i try it in a different way, like;

(12 + 125 + 32 - 17) * (225 - 2 + 321) = (152) * (544) = 82688

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I typed each number in to may calculator and pressed the equals key each time. I make the answer 34,519. That just looks right to me, I don't see any brackets in the original question, so I presume it can't be a negative answer.

...Let's use PEMDAS

12 + 125 + 32 - 17 x 225 - 2 + 321 =

17*25=3825

so know 12+125+32-3825-2+321=-3,337

so the answer would be.......-3,337!
